Gabby Goshtigian is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and expert in gait analysis and athletic performance.  She is a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA  and Clinical Exercise Physiologist through the ACSM. She has a Bachelor’s in Exercise Science from the University of New Hampshire and graduated from the University of New England with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2016. She has since specialized in working with runners in the Boston area in an outpatient orthopedic setting.

She has worked with youth and professional athletes as well as “weekend warriors'' in injury prevention, rehabilitation and sports performance. Throughout, it has been consistently clear how faulty movement patterns lead to recurring injury and poor performance. Unfortunately, most traditional PT falls short of sufficiently loading athletes and correcting these patterns long-term, which Gabby has aimed to remedy with individualized strength training, detailed movement analysis and gait optimization interventions.

Gabby utilizes functional movement screenings and biomechanical analysis in her assessment and treatment of patients. She published a case report in the International Journal of Sports Physical Therapy on the application of the Selective Functional Movement Assessment in the treatment of athletes. She has continued to sharpen her clinical skills through advanced training in manual therapy, spinal manipulation and Pilates. Gabby has helped teach workshops to other healthcare providers on joint mobilizations and gait analysis for runners including the Harvard Medical School Sports Medicine Conference

After 5 years of practice in the traditional health care model, Gabby started The Run Rx to provide more personalized attention with clients and to bridge the gap between rehabilitation and staying active across the lifespan of the modern athlete.
